A Note from Bishop Tonnos - “Please extend congratulations and thanks to your parishioners for their very generous Christian support for the people of Haiti.  The results of the Haiti appeal are truly wonderful with a total of $1,315,797.63.
Of this total, $1,035,570.01 is for the work of the St. Joseph Health System in Haiti
and $280,167.62 is for the Haiti relief work of the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace.”

Lent in Our Parish - During Lent, Stations of the Cross will be offered on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. in Polish and at 7:15 p.m. in English.
A Polish Lenten liturgy will be offered every Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. 
There will be a Lenten Parish Mission beginning on Saturday, March 6th at the regular 5:30 p.m. Mass and continuing at all of the Masses on Sunday, March 7th.  There will be a Mission Service on Sunday, March 7th at 6:30 p.m. followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  On Monday, March 8th the Mission continues at 7:15 p.m. with a Penance Celebration.
The Mission closes on Tuesday, March 9th at 7:15 p.m. with Mass.   Father Kevin Cull will be preaching at the Retreat on the Theme: “Vocations and the Priesthood: The Year of the Priest.”

Polish Penance Celebration - There will be a Polish Penance Celebration on Sunday, March 21st beginning at 4 p.m. in the church.

First Reconciliations - The grade 2 students at Saint Mark School will celebrate their First Reconciliation this Wednesday, March 10th at 7:15 p.m. in the church.  We ask you to pray for all of our students as they prepare to received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

Annual Founder’s Day Memorial Mass - The Knights of Columbus Council 5073 invite all parishioners to join Very Reverend Matthew Ustrzycki to celebrate their Annual Founder’s Day Memorial Mass on Monday, March 22 at St. Paul the Apostle Church on Headon Road.
The following is the celebration program:
Rosary starts at 6:45 to 7:15; Gospel music from 7:15 to 7:30; Mass at 7:30; Light Reception and Social in the parish hall after Mass.

Knights of Columbus Annual St Patrick's Party & Dance - Saturday, March 13, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2400 Industrial Street.  Everyone is invited.  Featuring the Manning Irish Dancers, DJ, and Live Entertainment.  The menu is Corned Beef, Cabbage and More. Lenten Retreat Days - Journey of Hope…Living our Faith Presented By: The Diocesan Staff in the Office for Ministry, Family and Religious Education.  The retreat runs on Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 pm. at St. Patrick Church, 196 Kenwood Ave, (off Lakeshore), Burlington.  March 10 – Sacraments: Fed by the Spirit (Presented by Josie Lombardi); March 17 – No Talk, March Break; March 24 – Spirituality & Prayer: Conversations with God (Presented by David Dayler); March 31 – Morality:  Lives Enriched by Our Teachings (Presented by Teresa Hartnett).  Take time this Lent to reflect on the richness of our Catholic tradition!

Where Do You Start Reading the Bible? - Join us for a rivetting 13 part series and learn how to read the Bible in chronological order.  Discover Our Father's Plan for salvation. Board Seeks Public Input on Strategic Planning and Renewal - The Halton Catholic District School Board is currently in the process of developing a Strategic Plan to serve as a blueprint for the future in continuing its important role in Catholic education. Stations of the Cross Youth Dramatization - Presented at the Good Friday Service each year, this heartfelt youth dramatization will practice on Wednesdays after school.  If you wish to participate please send me an email or call Mrs. K. for further information.  Good Friday is April 2nd.
